  1. A shame all your comment makers seem to be ladies.
Some old men like me enjoy feel good nice books like yours.
Well done and please keep it up.
PS did not notice any typos

    1. Gary, sorry for not answering earlier, I saw your comment only now.
Thank you for your words. You made my day 🙂

  2. I just finished your second book, “A Golden Shade of Blue”. It’s a delightful story, clean and mysterious at the same time. Great combination. I particularly enjoy the bumbling witches in all their humanity. Other than a number of typos and grammatical errors, it is perfect.

    1. LisaDawn, thank you for the words of praise 🙂 If you remember any of those errors, can you please tell me where they are? It would be very helpful! My email is dani @ danicorlee .com or danicorlee@gmail.com. Or else, leave a comment here. Thanks!

  3. Dani, Great job. I just finished your newest book, A Witch for Sleuth. It was excellent! I loved the changes and additions from the ARC. Still a few typos but nothing to take away from the story. Again, great job girl! Love your books, I have them all. Keep up the great work.

  4. I read all 3 books in the last couple days. Good storyline and not as much sex and violence as some fantasy novels. I’m retired so i have lots of time on my hands. Please let me know if you need any help and write another book soon. It’s winter! Need more reading material!

  5. I just read books one and two back to back. I love the story line and the characters. I can’t wait to read book three. I noticed a lots of spelling errors, grammer and sentence structure errors, especially in book two. I would love to be a beta reader for you. I read about four books a day. Again, I love your books. Please keep the series going for a long, long time.

    1. A lot? 🙁 They have been checked so many times! I hoped all the problems have been fixed… Thanks for letting me know. I’ll contact you soon 🙂

    1. Thank you Lorna! Book 3 has been published few days ago. Grab it before the price increase! Please, if you have time, leave a review 🙂

  6. I discovered your books a couple of days ago, and I have read both of them and loved them, I can’t wait for the next book.

  7. I have just finished BOTH books! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM! Started the 1st last night before bed, went to work…. finished the 2nd just now. Can not WAIT for the 3rd! I am so excited! Am always looking for new authors to read and witch, vampire… any paranormal are my favorites! 🙂 Would love to be advised when the 3rd comes out! Thank you so much for the entertainment! By the way…. GREAT JOB!

    1. Tina, you made my day! 😀
Thank you for your warm message, I really appreciate it.
Have you subscribed to my list? I cannot contact you otherwise. 🙁
And if you would like to leave a review or two on Amazon, it would be great… 😀

  8. Loved the first book. I am an avid reader and “witchy” books are my favorite. I have several favorite authors -my favorite one quit writing her witchy books – I think you just took her place!! If you ever need an extra reader – let me know!

    1. Sue, thank you for offering your help! I’ve just added few lines in the second book because some people complained they didn’t understand what was going on. I hope you will like the second as you like the first. I’m still working on the third book. I will contact you as soon as it’s ready 🙂

  9. I love your books and would be interested in becoming a beta reader for you. I could not find a way to email as asked so i thought i would leave a comment.

    1. Tammie, thank you for your help. If the email address you inserted in the comment is right, you will receive a message from me soon 🙂

        1. Tina, thank you for your help. I’m afraid I’m a little slow, but as soon as the third book will be ready, I will contact you 🙂

  10. Just finished the second of your New Witch in Town books. I enjoyed both. One thing I noticed in the second book is several times Aurora is referred to as “the kid.” I found it very jarring and out of character for Kim or any of the other characters to refer to Aurora that way. A few other errors but that really struck me. I’m looking forward to volume 3. I hope it is longer. Thanks for a fun story line.

    1. Linda, I’m glad you liked the books. I will surely check the issue you mentioned and see if I can fix it. Thank you for writing! 🙂

  11. I just would like to say how much I have enjoyed reading both books and was upset when I finished the second one.

  12. Hi Dani,

I just finished book 1. I loved it! I am really looking forward to starting the 2nd book. I would say my only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough lol. That being said I’m an avid reader and usually read 3 to 4 books a day so to me most books are never long enough. If you ever need any reading done don’t hesitate to contact me. I wish you much success and happy plentiful writing! Now I’m off to leave my review on Amazon!

    Angie

    1. Angie, you are very kind. I’m glad you liked the first book. I hope you will like the second as well! I will surely contact you soon.

  13. If you ever need reviewers let me know. I am on Dale Mayers street team. We get advance copies and give her reviews good bad or ugly. So far there isn’t a thing that I do not like. I love her work. I have a couple other authors I download and preread their books. I love to read.

    1. Hi Linda. Thank you for letting me know you liked my book 🙂
I cannot see your review yet. Did you review it as “Linda”? The last review published is from somebody else and it’s a 2 star 🙁
I’d like to have a street team, but I’m not so important!

  14. I just read A New Witch in Town. I loved it. Left it a 5 star. It was fun and entertaining. I will get the next in line. I hope you like my review.

  15. I enjoyed the first book so much I will be downloading the second when I am done here lol yes it needs more proofreading but didn’t Stop me from reading through to the end and wanting more.
    O.k.

  16. I enjoyed both books 1 & 2 immensely. So much so, that I can’t wait for the next one or several to come.

Although I do agree with most of the people who have posted there were several typos and grammatical errors, more so in book 1 than book 2. Some were just basic typos where there was a he instead of a she and things like that throughout. I hear you are looking for beta testers and I would love the chance to be a beta tester for your next books. The books were still great and I hope I can get the honor of being one of your future beta testers.

Also, as I said before I really have loved this series so far and will be patiently waiting (well as far as the patiently goes, I’ll be trying to anyways.. Lol) for your next books.

Sincerely and a Very Happy Reader,
    Kristie

    1. Kristie, comments like yours are a joy for me 🙂 Thanks a lot for taking the time to write it. I will contact you in the near future, even though I think I shouldn’t if you don’t sign for my list. I think your message legally allows me to do so. 🙂 If you remember any of those typos and errors, please, let me know at dani.corlee @ gmail . com Thanks!

      1. I’m glad to be of a help if at all possible and will be glad to try and go through and send you what I notice. What do you mean don’t sign for my list? How do I do that?

        Sincerely,
        Kristie

    1. Sally, thank you for your comment. If you join my list, I’ll let you know when book 3 is available 🙂

  17. I thoroughly enjoyed both of your first two novels. I love the characters and recognize the potential for them to continue to develop. I look forward to seeing more of all of them.

My only concern is the recognition of the need for better proofreading, particularly in volume 1. Volume 2 is considerably improved.

    1. Lisa, this is a big problem.
The first book was checked by an editor and a proofreader. The second by another professional and by a beta reader (thank you, Maggie!). If you remember any typo or problem, please let me know. I’ve read those books so many times after the final draft that I cannot see any error anymore. And I’m not in the position to pay another editor at the time 🙁

      1. You need to fire your editor and proofreader. I saw quite a few errors when I read A New Witch in Town (Maybe Two.) I also saw one-star review of the second volume.

I have a proposition for you. If you send me a Word or Open Office copy of the book I will do a thorough edit and send back the corrected (and properly redlined) copy. FOR FREE. If you like what you see perhaps we can come to an agreement on the second volume and any other future novels. I am retired and cannnot stop writing and editing.

        1. Thank you for your offer. Few days ago I uploaded amended editions of both books which have been corrected by a reader. Other readers time to time have sent me messages with errors they found. Hopefully now there shouldn’t be any left!

  18. Even being a senior citizen (and a retired librarian) , I still really enjoy fantasy. And this ebook was the best one that I have read for a long long time — A New Witch in Town. Actually was disappointed that it ended so quickly!

    Keep up the good work.

    1. Judy, thank you! It really means a lot a comment from a librarian! 🙂
I would love if you could leave a review on Amazon. 🙂

      1. Dani,

Hi I loved this story & will be definitely reading the next, I read pretty fast so I started reading the story this morning and just finished it. I agree a few typos but otherwise great work! I’m looking forward to the next 1. I agree with some others that I hope it becomes a series. I’ve read a similar witch series by another author, my mom & I enjoyed that we have bought all her books in 2 or 3 different witches series w cross over characters. Keep up the great work!

  19. Enjoyed book 1 and just downloaded book 2. I am happy to be a beta reader if it would assist you.

Many thanks for an enjoyable read.

    Deborah

  20. Read the book in one day! Loved it! My housework suffered and the family got sandwiches for dinner but I couldnt stop reading. Any time you need a beta reader I would be more than happy to help!

    1. I now feel guilty and sorry for your family! :p
Kathy, the new book will be published soon. Thank you for your offer to be a beta reader. I will contact you next week! In the meantime, if you can leave a review on Amazon it would be great! 🙂 Thanks a lot.

  21. Hi Dani,
I’m really looking forward to reading Book 2. I don’t mean to rush you (well maybe I do) but I enjoyed the first book so much I’m going through withdrawal and it isn’t pretty – just ask my husband! 🙂

    1. LOL! I’m so sorry, I know I’m late. I’m doing my best to publish it within April. Maybe you want to join my list to be notified of when to get it while on sale? (Price will be reduced for 2 days after few days it has been published to let people on my list have it at a discount price). Or maybe you would like to be a beta reader? In any case, thanks you for your words. I would be very glad if you could leave a review on Amazon… 🙂

  22. Enjoyed the book was taken into Kim’s world. I was engrossed in the book I read it in 2 days. Like other readers a few mistakes. Looking forward to reading book 2. Thank you and good luck for the future.

    1. Maureen, I’ll do my best to make you enjoy the new book as you enjoyed the first. Thanks for your message!

  23. Ms. Corlee, I would be interested in being a beta reader. I found a number of typos and grammatical errors in the first book that detracted from the store.

Saying that I enjoyed the story line the characters and am looking forward to getting the know them better in hopefully the on going series.

  24. I enjoyed the story but I must agree that it needs more proofing. I look forward to the next installment.

    1. Bonnie, thank you for your comment. If there is anything particular you want to let me know, please, fell free to contact me: dani.corlee @ gmail .com Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

  25. A beautiful story! Just when I thought I’d pull my hair out because of the proliferation of Fifty Shades of “You – Name – It” books, along comes a sweet, upbeat story about people who truly care about one another. Thanks for a cozy, enjoyable read to recommend to my friends.
The only suggestion I can make is to please concentrate on proofreading. There are some spots where a professional proofreader would be a real asset however the story is absolutely wonderful.

    1. Debra, thank you for your nice words. I’m happy you enjoyed my book. 🙂
A beta reader and a professional editor checked the story, but I understand your point. If you can address me to errors/problems, I’ll be more than glad to check them. Also, I’m looking for beta readers for the next story which will be released in March.

      1. I would agree that you need more editors or beta readers. The first book was okay with minor errors but the second book had a huge amount of grammar, sentence structure and general spelling errors. It seemed the problems got bigger the further back in the book you read.

        1. Sheryl, that’s terrible! A huge amount of grammar, sentence structure and general spelling are like a punch on my nose 🙁 I will definitively need to take some action, but cannot afford a new professional edit right now. Will start reading them again and hopefully I will be able to catch some of those errors. Thanks for your comment!
P.S. I’ve just realized your comment is nested in the first comment I received, therefore will show as the first one. Sorry, I don’t know how to move it!
